Who is Keisha Wells?
That’s a wonderful question to ask! I’m a licensed professional counselor, a national certified counselor, a volunteer support coordinator for Postpartum Support International, a contributing writer at SHARE Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, and a board member at Return to Zero: H.O.P.E.
As a natural encourager, I’ve worked in a variety of settings in my counseling career such as community mental health, hospice, substance abuse treatment, and vocational rehabilitation. My counseling career has been as blessed as it has been diverse. I consider it a privilege to support individuals enduring some of their toughest struggles.
As a writer, I’ve contributed to articles featured in ESSENCE magazine, The New York Times, HuffPost, and Parents Magazine.
I also enjoy listening to and being a guest on podcasts.

Q&A with Keisha
If you had a private dinner with three artists or visionaries, dead or alive, who would you invite: Prince, Oprah Winfrey, and Malcolm X.
If you were not working as a therapist, what type of work would you do? I’d be a full-time writer, real estate broker, house flipper, or career counselor. Writing is my first love. I enjoy watching House Hunters and remodeling television shows. I also enjoy helping others identify their skills in the workplace.
